I went to Patagonia today to exchange two pieces of rain gear. The manager was wearing a Quicksilver button up with the logo tag prominently displayed where a name tag should be. He told me the lifetime warranty on Patagonia clothing is for the lifetime of the product not the lifetime of the person. Such a strange name, "lifetime." I told him Reno headquarters said they would exchange it but to go to the store first. He later exchanged the two pieces but not without a hassle.
