Current events

So I have not been posting on here lately. Life has become busier while trying to train for the tour. I am riding no less than 30 miles a day with 3 or 4 very long days during a week. The weather is getting warmer and Polar Bear season is winding down so I have to find something to replace that.
The bike is slowly getting together. The racks should be painted soon, and the logos will be on the bike in the next two weeks.
Mike at nicolacycles.com is going to waterjet some really nice Exercise Compassion logos and Carrion Cycles logos for us to put on the top and down tubes. once that is complete we can stain and spray the bike, yes STAIN!
I am an official member of the Coney Island Polar Bear Club and must say thanks to all the great people who feel like family there. All the hardcore polar bear kids must thank Eric Weiss for the peer pressure to swim in freezing water.
We had our first international Polar Bear swim with a visit from the Chinese Winter Swimmers. Check out some of the photos here: http://gothamist.com/2009/03/16/chinese_winter_swimming_delegation.php?gallery0Pic=3#gallery
