Vegan Iditarod?

Lately I have been thinking of entering the Alaskan Ultra Sport Iditarod Trail invitational for 2010. This is a 350 mile event in which you can choose to travel by bike, foot or ski.
Most of the entrants live off a diet of moose meat and other fatty foods in order to keep the calories high for such a cold enduring feat. I, of course would only eat a vegan diet on this adventure through Alaska.
I'm going to need as much monetary, dietary and physical help with this project, so any rich vegans out there, please send money. Any smart, cold, vegan dietitians out there please send advice.

I've also started swimming with the Coney Island Polar Bear Club every Sunday. The people who come out to watch and especially the members are great people who love to share their knowledge and good times with anyone and everyone who comes out.

You're fucking insane.

I have cases or Raw Bars, they are made out of lots of nuts, that might be a good thing to eat while in the snow...

I could mail them to you, or maybe you could get a sponsorship, that would rule!

i think you're in for a surprise. most of the racers live off of candy bars, cookie dough and peanut butter with only occasional meat during the race.....
